The present invention relates to an unlocking and opening control device, especially in emergency of a vehicle door.
The vehicle doors are generally equipped with interior and exterior opening controls having visible mechanisms such as exterior opening control (COE), interior opening control (COI) which generally make it possible to ensure opening. doors in all vehicle life situations.
Over the past few years, the style of the vehicle has tended to eliminate apparent exterior and / or interior opening controls, either by proposing mechanisms integrated into the door, handle in the inactive position, flush with the exterior surface of the door. and deployable in the active position, ie by completely dematerializing the opening mechanisms using non-visible commands such as control box, “smartphone” type telephone.
However, the commands with dematerialized opening do not make it possible to ensure the opening of the doors in all the conditions of life of the vehicle and in particular in the event of failure of the dematerialized opening system, loss of "keys", side impact ...
EP0144731 discloses a rapid release system with pyrotechnic triggering with a housing which has a hollow space, in which a piston is housed in a movable manner. Thus, the piston can be moved by virtue of an amount of gas released during the ignition of an ignition element disposed in the hollow space, from a starting position (rest position) to a final position. A piston rod initiates a process on the path of the piston to the end position, or in the end position; the piston rod acts on a locking means and unlocks it in the final position. In the rest position, this locking means blocks a functional element and triggers or releases it in the final position. In order to make this quick release system so that it can be manufactured and installed economically, that it has a small footprint and that it has a very good operating capacity, the housing presents as part integral with the elements, by means of which it can be fixed on elements of a motor vehicle, as well as at least one fulcrum for at least one locking means.
Such a device is in the form of a housing and therefore requires a receiving space allowing it to be mounted in the vehicle element such as a door. The resulting size can therefore be a barrier to its use within an opening. In addition, it acts directly on a functional element of the locking means, which leads to the door opening automatically, which may not be desirable at first.
Also known from US2016 / 0138303 is a door handle comprising mechanical actuation means of a lock and which are connected to a removable cover element so that, in the event of an emergency opening being necessary, actuation of the cover element makes it possible to actuate the means for actuating the lock, by pulling. This set being housed in a door opening element, it cannot be used for a dematerialized door opening control.
The invention therefore aims to provide an unlocking and opening control device which integrates most effectively in the environment of a door. The opening unlocking control device must in particular be able to allow unlocking and opening to be controlled in the event of an emergency or failure of the usual opening system, and this by a user and not systematically.
To this end, the invention relates to a device for controlling the unlocking and opening of a door, comprising means for controlling the mechanism for unlocking and opening the door, characterized in that the device comprises a support carrying the control means, this support being positioned between two panels which respectively have a frangible zone, the support also carrying percussion means which can be actuated between an inactive position and an active position in which said means percussion strike the frangible area of each panel to break it.
Thus, advantageously, as the support is placed between the panels, these prevent access to said control means and therefore their actuation, while the percussion means when actuated make it possible to destroy the protective panels and to free access to the control means which are thus accessible for actuation.
Preferably, the control means consist of a control member connected to one end of a traction cable whose opposite end is connected to the unlocking and opening mechanism of an opening such as a door. The control member is mounted which can be driven in translation on the support, the drive in translation of said member causing a displacement of the end of the associated cable generating at the other end of said cable an actuation of the unlocking and opening mechanism of the door.
The unlocking and opening control device according to the invention is intended to be installed in an opening, such as a vehicle door, in particular between the door casing and the window frame, for example in the lower front part of the door in the vehicle repository, preferably at a fenestron.
Advantageously, the panels of the device has a shape allowing them to be housed between the box and the part frame and extend apart and parallel to each other in the plane of the door, the one being on the outside of the door and the other on the inside. These panels respectively have a frangible zone, the frangible zones being opposite one another in the opening.
The support is arranged between the panels and has a part for fixing to the door casing. This support also has percussion means which consist of two ends of coaxial axis mounted on the support so as to extend transversely between the panels. These ends of the axis are mounted for movement on the support between an inactive position and an active position where the end of each axis end strikes the frangible zone of a panel thus allowing the destruction of part of the panel. , thus freeing up access to the space between the panels.
Preferably, the actuation means of the percussion means consist of a sheath in which is slidably mounted a rod movable in movement under the effect of an amount of gas that can be released during ignition d 'an ignition element, thus forming a pyrotechnic cartridge actuating the rod.
The rod is shaped at its end in the form of a two-sided point which is inserted between the two ends of the ends of the axis which are shaped in a complementary bevel shape.
Thus, the sides of the tip of the rod cooperate with the bevelled faces of the ends of the percussion means and repel the percussion means by sliding against their bevelled faces. The percussion means joined by the tip of their beveled end are spaced from one another and their opposite ends strike the panels, the frangible part of which under the impact of the percussion means breaks, thereby freeing access to the space between said panels and in particular to the control member.
This control member is mounted on the support which can be driven in transverse translation. Thus, when the frangible zones have been destroyed by the percussion means, a user has access to the space between the panels both from inside and from outside the vehicle and can in particular drive the control member in translation. which causes the cable to be driven and thereby the actuation of the unlocking and opening device.
Advantageously, the invention also relates to an opening such as a vehicle door comprising a box, a window frame and provided with a mechanism for unlocking and opening the opening, characterized in what it includes an unlocking and opening control device according to the invention as defined above, mounted in the frame of the opening, preferably at a fenestron.
The device according to the invention advantageously allows the doors to be opened from the inside and the outside under so-called degraded conditions (alterations to the functions and said dematerialized opening commands, such as the loss of the vehicle keys, vehicle shocks altering the dematerialized opening control system, breakdowns (battery, etc.).
In case of necessity or emergency, the actuation means of the percussion means are triggered and the rod deploys and causes the displacement of the percussion means which strike the frangible zones of the panels thus releasing access to the control member which is located above the edge of the box, on either side of the door.
Once the access has been released, the control member can then be actuated both from the inside and from the outside of the door by a user, the drive in translation of said member causing the associated cable to move, for example by exerting a traction thereon, generating the actuation of the unlocking and opening mechanism of the door.
Advantageously, it is then possible to open the door from the inside or from the outside, even in the event of a faulty electrical control of the unlocking and opening mechanism of the door.
Advantageously, the driving movement of the percussion means from their inactive position to their active position can be done, door by door at the request of the user or can be done on all of the doors in the event of detection of an emergency situation such as the activation of at least one protective air bag or air bag.
The invention also relates to a vehicle comprising an on-board computer and means of connection to said computer, and at least one opening, comprising a device for unlocking and opening the opening according to the invention.
Indeed, the unlocking and opening control device is particularly advantageous in the case of a vehicle comprising openings with dematerialized opening control or of the hidden type such as the flush handles called "flush". We therefore offer a vehicle whose doors can be opened in all conditions of the vehicle's life (failure of the dematerialized opening system, loss of keys, side impact, ...).
Preferably, the vehicle according to the invention comprises means of activation by the on-board computer of the vehicle, means of actuation of the unlocking and opening control device, for example, following detection of the activation of an airbag.
Likewise, the vehicle comprises means of activation by the on-board computer of the vehicle, means of actuation of an unlocking and opening control device for an opening after a validated identification between the vehicle's on-board computer and the user of said vehicle.
The device according to the invention can also be used on vehicles fitted with conventional handles, as an emergency opening device.

Figure 1 shows a perspective view of a front door P of a vehicle, which comprises a device 1 according to the invention housed in a fenestron F of the door P.
This door P consists of a part of the door casing C generally surmounted by a frame part C1 in which is housed a sliding window, which, in the lowered position is housed in the box C.
Such a door P can in particular be equipped with door opening mechanisms integrated into the door, the handle of which in the inactive position, is flush with the exterior surface of the door and deployable in the active position. The opening mechanisms can also be completely dematerialized using non-visible commands such as a control box, “smartphone” type telephone.
To allow an opening of the door P possible even in the event of a failure of an external opening control, for example, there is provided a control device 1 according to the invention connected to an unlocking and opening mechanism 2 as well as an on-board computer 3 of a vehicle.
This device 1 comprises panels 11 extending for one on the outer face of the opening and for the other on the inner face, the panels 11 extending parallel and spaced apart from one other so as to delimit between them a space E. In the example given and so as to be housed in the fenestron F of the door P, the panels 11 have a triangular shape as can be seen in FIGS. 1 and 9.
In space E is housed a support 12 which carries percussion means 13, actuation means 14 of said percussion means 13 and a control member 15 which, when operated, controls a mechanism for unlocking and opening 2 of door P.
Thus, the support 12 comprises a sheath 122 in which is slidably mounted a rod 141 movable in movement under the effect of a quantity of gas which can be released during the ignition of an ignition element, forming thus in the sheath 122 a pyrotechnic cartridge actuating the rod 141.
The support 12 also includes tubular sections 121 which extend transversely in the space E defined between the panels 11. Percussion means 13 consisting of two ends of coaxial axis are slidably mounted in the tubular sections 121 of support 12 so as to extend transversely between the panels 11.
Each end of the axis 13 has an end 131 cut at a bevel. In the inactive position of the percussion means, the tips of the ends 131 of the ends of axes 13 are positioned adjacent while the other end 132 of each ends of axes 13 is positioned opposite a panel 11.
The rod 141 of the actuating means 14 has one end in the form of a two-point tip 143. In the inactive position of the percussion means 13, the point end of the rod 141 is housed between the two ends 131 of the ends of axis 13, shaped in a complementary bevel and placed end to end. Thus, the tip of the rod 141 is housed, in the inactive position of the percussion means 13, in the space defined between the ends 131 of the ends of the axis 13. When the rod 141 is actuated under the effect of the pyrotechnic cartridge, the tip of the rod 141 driven in displacement slides against the bevelled ends 131 of the ends of axes 13 causing the separation of these which slide in the tubular sections 121 of the support 12. The opposite ends 132 of the ends axis 13 then abut against the panels 11.
The panels 11 are made of synthetic material such as polyurethane, polypropylene These panels 11 have localized and contiguous thickness variations which form a frangible line 111, which, under the effect of the shock of the percussion means 13 , breaks. This frangible line 111 can thus delimit a frangible zone 112 of wall 11, which, under the effect of the shock of the percussion means 13, breaks and is completely detached from the panel 11.
One can also provide, as can be seen in the figures, that the thickness variations are programmed to delimit a frangible line 111 forming a frangible zone in the shape of a hatch 112, part of the thickness variation being defined to allow pivoting of the hatch 112. This hatch 112, under the effect of the percussion means 13, pivots and opens, thus freeing access to the space E between said panels 11.
The support 12 also carries a control member 15 which extends transversely between the panels 11 in the space E. This member 15 is mounted so as to slide on the support 12 and transversely in the space E. It preferably in the form of a rectangular plate 15 having a lumen 151 at each end. To this plate 15 is fixed the end of a cable 4, the opposite end of which is fixed to the unlocking and opening mechanism 2 of the door P.
Once the hatches 112 of the panels 11 open, it is possible to drive the wafer 15 in translation by exerting traction by means of a light 151. This translation of the wafer15 exerts traction on the cable 4 and the control of the unlocking and opening mechanism 2.
Thus, in an emergency, the pyrotechnic cartridge 142 is triggered and the rod 141 of the actuating means 14 is deployed and causes the deployment of the percussion means 13 (see Figure 6) which are caused to strike the panel 11 at the frangible zone 112 of the panels 11. The rupture of the frangible zone 112 frees access to the space E. The device according to the invention is therefore in the activated position as can be seen in FIG. 10 .
The control member 15 is then accessible to a user and can be actuated, if necessary, both from the inside and from the outside of the door. The translational drive of the member 15 causes the displacement of the associated cable 3 by exerting a traction on it, generating the actuation of the unlocking and opening mechanism 2 of the door P.
In a first case, one can control the unlocking door by door, for example when a failure occurs of the interior and / or exterior dematerialized openings. For example, the vehicle no longer has an exterior opening control and the opening is triggered using a wireless connection. Thus, if a failure of the external dematerialized opening system occurs, an identification can be made between the user of the vehicle and the vehicle itself by means of wireless connection system of the WIFI, 3G type, etc. Once the identification has been validated, it is then possible to trigger the actuation of the percussion means which allow access to the control member which can be actuated to control an unlocking from outside the vehicle for example.
In the event of a vehicle impact, airbag type inflatable protection systems are triggered and, as soon as one of the protection systems is triggered, the actuating means 14 of the device according to the invention are also controlled. so as to free access to the control unit for unlocking and opening the doors. The opening remains advantageously closed, which prevents passengers from falling out of the vehicle. All of the doors can then be opened either from the inside to allow the vehicle occupants to exit the vehicle or from the outside to allow the emergency services to access the occupants to extract them, the device being in the activated position and therefore can be operated as shown in Figure 10.
Preferably, the actuating means are controlled for all the opening elements equipped with an opening control device according to the invention by the vehicle on-board computer following a detection of the activation of an airbag, or even for an opening following a validated identification between the vehicle and the user of said vehicle.
Insofar as the actuation means 14 of the percussion means 13 consist of pyrotechnic means which, when triggered, expel the rod 141, and cause the panels 11 to rupture, once triggered, the control device opening must be replaced for new use.
